The artshow show is over

My artshow is over. I didnt sell any paintings. I did sell my dragon sculpture. Ot didnt come many people at all during the days i was there, the opening times, that was a bit of a disappointment. I will be updating the online gallerys more often, focus more on them. I have been lazy with that I admitt. The website I created for my art is hard to use so I will get a new one. It was stressful to first working 5½ hour then travel 2 hours to the gallery but worth it. I have written the morning paiges alot, and been drawing much as well when no people came into the gallery.

Next time I have an artshow I want to have in a bigger place, not that it wasnt cozy where i had it, cause it was but it cost much and I like to have in a bigger place next time and that it will be written about my art in the newspaper, so more people will come and see it.

Im' glad you sold something from the show. It took me a while to find out where al the calls for submissions come from in my area (and I only know ofa few). I think it would be good to do a show with some other people who could acquaint new viewers to your work, and support you a little bit.

Thanks, yeah I can imagine it taking time. I am not sure what sells,nature paintings in oil is common, but often it deoends. I do feel that I paint for myself, cause I want and need it. I am less interested in changing my art to fit the public unless I feel it would make my art better. I would love to have an artshow with others, where one could support each other and such.
